I love this place, they have everything you need for the perfect backyard bird retreat. The staff is always welcoming and knowledgeable. I visit at least twice a month to stock up on bird seed.

This place is very cool if you’re into birds and garden art . They have a lot of very pretty feeders and bird seeds for every occasion you can think of lol I really enjoy going here. They have a staff are very knowledgeable they are just a little pushy. I love the excitement for birds but there was not a single moment where i was Repeatedly approached or upsold during browsing. It was a little overwhelming.

This is a stellar store! Our cashier Lois greeted us and asked if we needed help, which set a positive mood for our visit. She took our question to Mike, who spent a generous amount of time with us and dug deep to figure out our needs. We have woodpeckers going at our cedar siding and thought we could bribe them with suet! Mike set us up with spicy, no-melt suet, plus the right feeder for our woodpecker species—he even factored in whether we had grackles and starlings to steer us in the right direction. He advised us on feeder placement, how often we'd need more suet, and the reasons that woodpeckers might peck houses. He also said he'd get us a coupon for next time, and at checkout, Lois explained the WBU club to us. Mike and Lois were friendly and patient, and I was very impressed with Mike's depth of knowledge and keen interest in our situation. I also really appreciate WBU's focus on bird wellness and restoring ecosystem function—I noticed a Doug Tallamy book and a poster about the National Wildlife Federation inside. Plus, I looked up WBU after our visit and am heartened to see that their reputation around quality is solid, particularly when it comes to bird food. This was o

A nice selection of products, and very kind and helpful employees who are passionate about birding. Wild Birds has managed to create a great sense of community around a fun hobby that I have not seen replicated in other types of retail stores—Pretty cool!
